Kathy Gladen Johnson

Kathy Gladen Johnson is a graduate of the Baylor School of Music and has worked in music administration at Baylor and Word, Inc. Her heritage as a “missionary kid” from Latin America informs her life, work and music. She is active in the music ministry of DaySpring Baptist Church (Waco, TX) serving as pianist and choral accompanist, and has served numerous churches in Mexico and in the Central Texas area as pianist and organist. Her choral compositions have been published by Word, Purifoy Publishing, Lorenz, Colla Voce, Hal Leonard and MorningStar. Kathy recently collaborated with composer and pianist Kurt Kaiser on a CD collection of piano offertories based on their hymn improvisations (Come Away 2017).
