Eric O. Poole

Dr. Eric O. Poole serves as an Assistant Professor for Howard University. Before coming to Howard, Dr. Poole conducted university choral groups at North Carolina Central University (Durham, NC), Saint Augustine's University (Raleigh, NC), the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Greensboro).

He has served as a choral clinician and conductor in festivals and workshops in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He has also conducted clinics with choruses from California, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Utah.

Eric earned an undergraduate degree in Music from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Master of Music degree from Howard University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Eric, his wife Stephanie, and his son Jeremiah live in Arlington, VA.
