Tim Sarsany

As an accomplished composer and arranger, Tim Sarsany continues to receive commissions from high school, collegiate, and professional groups nationwide. He focuses mostly on choral works, sacred and secular with varied accompaniments, from a cappella to full orchestral accompaniments.

Dr. Sarsany is a visiting assistant professor and Director of Choral Activities at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. He previously spent 21 years with the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, spending 9 years as Artistic Director after serving 12 years as Assistant Director. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in conducting from The Ohio State University, as well a Master of Music degree in choral conducting and a Bachelor of Music degree in music composition.
