Robert (Bobby) Schlidt has been a vocal music teacher at Centennial High School in Circle Pines, MN since 2006. His duties at Centennial High School include teaching Una Voce (10-12 grade SSAA), RoMANcers (upper level TB ensemble), Varsity Choir (9-10 grade TB), Ovation! (extra-curricular pop choir), and team-teaching Concert Choir. In addition, Bobby gives weekly in-school voice lessons to students. Prior to joining the staff at Centennial, Bobby worked as a full-time accompanist at Prior Lake High School, taught at Eastview High School, and started his career at Whitehall High School in Wisconsin. He also directed OutLoud!, the 12 man ensemble of the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus from 2002 – 2014.

Currently living in Minneapolis, MN, Bobby is originally from the Milwaukee area, growing up in Hartford, WI. Bobby graduated from UW – Eau Claire in the fall of 2000, receiving degrees in both choral and instrumental music education with major emphasis on voice and bassoon and a minor in piano. While there, he studied conducting under Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff and Dr. Robert Bayless. He is a member of ACDA and MENC.
