Tom Andino

Tom Andino

b. 1976

Tom Andino lives in Syracuse, New York and serves as the Director of Music at The Church of St. Michael/St. Peter; a position he has held since 1998. Tom also does work throughout the Diocese of Syracuse offering workshops on liturgy, liturgical music and cantor formation, including teaching in the Deaconate Formation Program and the Formation for Ministry Program. For the past 19 years Tom has also been the musician and liturgist for the Diocese of Syracuse's Annual Clergy Convocation and a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission.

In 2003 Tom also began working at Le Moyne College, a Jesuit College in Upstate New York, as Director of Liturgy and Music and in August 2018 was also appointed as Director of The Office of Campus Ministry.

Tom has added composer to his resume within the past few years. Published works include "Hands of Christ" (GIA) and "Deo Gloria, Alleluia!" (GIA) an Easter Gospel Acclamation for the Easter Season adapted from "Deo Gloria" composed by Carol Browning. Tom's most recent piece, "Christ's Lullaby," has just been selected for publication by MorningStar Music.

Tom's formal study includes an undergraduate degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York. He also holds a Masters Degree in Theology and Liturgy from St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry in Rochester, New York. He lives in Syracuse with his wife Lisa and two daughters.
