Choral Folios Available for Purchase
This 7-minute choral setting of the liturgical latin text has been widely performed, both on Christmas and non-holiday concerts. Interspersed with fanfarish brass statements and energetic multi-metric choral singing are contrasting, flowing lyrical moments and some free-verse chant-like material. Gloria has often been used as an opening selection for Christmas programs, in both church and concert hall settings. The orchestration is available as a rental property in both the full and reduced versions; an organ/5-brass percussion version as well as a symphonic wind ensemble version are available for purchase.
A Feast of Carols

- The Gloucester Wassail Carol
- Il Est Neé, le Divin Enfant
- Veni, Emmanuel
- The Holly and the Ivy
- God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen
- We Wish You Merry Christmas
The final selection, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, is available as a separate choral octavo (RBM-008) and the orchestration (RBM-205) for this excerpt is available for purchase.

A 10-minute medley containing the following carols:
- Shiloh (William Billings)
- Joy To The World
- Silent Night (German & English)
- Angels We Have Heard On High
As the title suggests, this work contains a fanfare motif which is developed throughout. The full orchestration (including organ and optional handbells) is available on a rental-only basis; a symphonic wind ensemble of the accompaniment may be purchased.
A Symphony of Carols
This choral medley is dedicated to the preeminent composer and conductor John Williams and runs approximately 13 minutes. The arrangement contains the following material in four connected "movements."
- Pat-a-pan / Fum, Fum, Fum
- Stille Nacht / Still, Still, Still
- Adeste Fideles
Optional baritone, soprano and mezzo-soprano soloists are called for, although choral sections may be substituted if desired. The full orchestration (including organ and optional handbells) is available on a rental-only basis; a symphonic wind ensemble version of the accompaniment is available for purchase.
An extensive, multi-movement SATB choral setting which draws on carols from a wide variety of sources. The material utilized is as follows:
Deck the Halls
Lullaby Carols (Lully, Lullay - What Child Is This?)
Bell Carols (Ding, Dong Merrily on High - Ukrainian Bell Carol)
I Wonder As I Wander (Contralto solo)
The Twelve Days of Christmas
Recessional: Personent Hodie (abridged)
Often this piece is excerpted rather than performed as a whole. In addition to instrumental scores for the entire work, orchestrations for individual movements are available separately - all on a rental-only basis.
A collection primarily of Old English carols, arranged for SATB chorus and full orchestra (rental only) in a manner particularly suited for heavier, more church-oriented programs. The arrangement contains the following material:
Masters in the Hall
Rejoice, Rejoice, Believers
Gentle Mary Laid Her Child
In the Bleak Mid-Winter
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
This medley has been used to good effect with organ alone, the accompanist playing the orchestral reduction from the choral score.
A relatively new work, similar in character to the Gloria setting listed above. This work is a multi-metric, exuberant setting of the traditional, liturgical Latin text, originally written for piano and SATB chorus and subsequently scored for full orchestra. (Orchestration is available on a rental-only basis.) This selection has been used to good effect, not only on Holiday concerts but as a stylistic teaching piece for young singers.
A Savior Is Born
A 10-movement cantata for SATB soloists, SATB chorus and orchestra (full or reduced - both available on a rental-only basis) which tells the Nativity story in a neo-baroque musical style. The textural structure of the piece is paraphrased by the composer from the Holy Scriptures and outlines a narrative shape similar to the famous setting of the Christmas story by Heinrich Schütz. The reduced orchestration for this piece calls for a minimum of 14 players, with the option for increased string strength as resources permit.
Sing We Now of Christmas
c.4-7:00 depending on choice of repeated sections
A dignified audience sing-along containing the following carols:
O Come, All Ye Faithful
- Away In A Manger
- The First Noël
- Joy to the World
- Silent Night
- Hark, the Herald Angels Sing
SATB choral scores for this medley are available as well as a single-line "lead sheet" which may be duplicated in concert programs or, if desired, sung by unison chorus. The arrangement contains two verses of each carol and the length of the piece may be adjusted by manipulation of first and second endings. In addition, there are provisions for omitting Joy to the World entirely from the running order.
